Why we're doing this

Wine has a reputation for being complicated and a little snobby. The people who make it and pour it are neither. They're generous, they're nerdy, and they'll happily tell you what to open with the turkey.

Meanwhile, everything online is turning into a chatbot. So we built one and put a real person behind every answer.

For 24 hours over Thanksgiving, anyone can ask anything about wine and get an answer from a winemaker, a sommelier or a wine director, with their name on it. No dumb questions. No AI. Just people who love wine helping people who want to enjoy it.

Wine is better with a human in it.

How it works

  1. Ask anything. Pairings, budgets, that dusty bottle from your aunt's basement.
  2. A real pro picks it up. They work 20-minute shifts, around the clock.
  3. Get an answer with a name on it. Ask follow-ups. Share the good ones.
